This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information — including when you interact with LinkedIn, when we measure usage with Google Analytics, and when you sign in with Google Single Sign-On.

This policy is written to align with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR). If you are located outside the UK/EU, other rights may apply to you under your local law. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the Site.

2Information We Collect

We collect information in the following ways:

Information you provide directly. This includes your name, email address, and any other details you submit through contact forms, newsletter sign-ups, or when you sign in with Google SSO.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring URLs, pages visited, and the dates and times of your visits. This is collected via cookies and similar technologies, including Google Analytics.

Information from third-party sign-in (Google SSO). If you choose to sign in or register using your Google account, Google shares certain profile information with us, as described in Section 4 below.

Information from LinkedIn. If you interact with LinkedIn features on the Site (such as a LinkedIn “Follow” or “Share” button, or if you arrive at our Site via a LinkedIn ad), LinkedIn may collect data about that interaction, as described in Section 4 below.

3How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Operate, maintain, and improve the Site and our services
  • Authenticate you and manage your account when you sign in via Google SSO
  • Respond to your enquiries and communicate with you
  • Understand how visitors use the Site through analytics, so we can improve content and user experience
  • Measure and optimise our marketing, including LinkedIn advertising campaigns
  • Comply with our legal obligations and enforce our terms

4Third-Party Services We Use

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC (“Google”), to understand how visitors use the Site. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect standard internet log information and visitor behaviour information in an anonymous or pseudonymous form.

The information generated by the cookie about your use of the Site (including your IP address, which may be truncated) is transmitted to and stored by Google on servers, which may be located outside the UK/EEA. Google uses this information to compile reports on Site activity for us.

You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or by adjusting your cookie preferences via our cookie banner (if applicable).

For more information, see Google’s Privacy Policy and how Google uses data when you use partner sites.

LinkedIn

We may use LinkedIn features such as the LinkedIn Insight Tag, social share/follow buttons, or LinkedIn advertising pixels. When you visit the Site, LinkedIn may place cookies on your browser and collect information such as your IP address, browser and device information, and pages visited, to help us understand engagement with our content and measure the performance of our LinkedIn advertising.

If you are logged into LinkedIn, this data may be linked to your LinkedIn account in accordance with LinkedIn’s own privacy practices. We do not control and are not responsible for LinkedIn’s use of this data.

For more information, see LinkedIn’s Privacy Policy and LinkedIn’s Cookie Policy.

Google Single Sign-On (SSO)

We offer the option to sign in to the Site using your Google account via Google SSO (OAuth). If you choose this option, Google will share certain information with us based on the permissions you grant, which may include your name, email address, and profile picture.

We use this information solely to create and manage your account and authenticate you on future visits. We do not receive or store your Google account password. You can review or revoke the Site’s access to your Google account at any time via your Google Account permissions page.

Google’s own use of your data is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy.

5Cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. We use the following categories of cookies:

  • Strictly necessary cookies – required for the Site to function
  • Analytics cookies – used by Google Analytics to understand Site usage
  • Marketing/advertising cookies – used by LinkedIn to measure and improve our advertising
  • Functional cookies – used to support features such as Google SSO sign-in

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, and, where applicable, through our cookie consent banner. Please note that disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of the Site.

7How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information with:

  • Service providers, such as Google (Analytics, SSO) and LinkedIn, who process data on our behalf or as independent controllers per their own privacy policies
  • Professional advisors, such as lawyers or accountants, where necessary
  • Regulators or authorities, where required by law
  • A successor entity, in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets

8International Data Transfers

Google and LinkedIn may store and process data on servers located outside the UK/EEA, including in the United States. Where this occurs, such transfers are made in reliance on appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, or equivalent mechanisms recognised as providing adequate protection.

9Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Analytics data collected via Google Analytics is retained in accordance with our Google Analytics account settings. You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 10).

10Your Rights

If UK/EU GDPR applies to you, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request erasure of your data
  • Object to or restrict certain processing
  • Request data portability
  • Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent
  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk)

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@getdeepgrowth.com.

11Children’s Privacy

The Site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.

12Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

13Changes to This Policy
